Soulmate Readings ("we", "us") offers intuitive tarot readings by phone with Shannon Rose. This page explains what information we collect when you visit soulmatereadings.com or book a reading, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book a reading. Checkout is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number and payment details. We receive your name, email, phone number, the reading you booked and the amount paid. We need these to confirm your booking and so Shannon can reach you to schedule your call.
Card details. We never see or store your card number. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and stay with Stripe. See Stripe's privacy policy.
What you tell Shannon. Anything you share during a reading, by phone or text, stays between you and Shannon. We don't record calls.
How you found us. When you book, we note where your visit came from, for example a search engine, another website or a link with a campaign tag. This helps us understand which pages bring people to us. It doesn't identify you on its own.
Site usage. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people move through the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, as described in Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use it
- To confirm your booking and send your confirmation email.
- So Shannon can contact you to schedule and hold your reading.
- To keep records of payments for accounting and tax purposes.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site, so we can improve it.
We don't send marketing emails, and we don't sell, rent or trade your information.
Who else handles it
- Stripe processes payments.
- SendGrid delivers our confirmation and booking emails.
- Google Analytics measures site usage.
- Our web host stores the site and its booking records.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email shannon@soulmatereadings.com and we'll take care of it.
Age
Readings are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
